Meet the Devyn Gale Siblings – Brother and Sister

As mentioned above, Nolan and Dayln Gale are Devyn Gale’s older brother and younger sister. The late firefighter’s siblings, Nolan and Kaylon, are equally professional firefighters.

Her siblings were among those who gave moving speeches about Gale describing her compassion, wisdom and upbringing.

“Devyn was a wonderful sister; she was gentle, compassionate, loving,” said Nolan, who was working with Devyn when the tree fell on her. He said he helped free her.

Nolan expressed his gratitude, saying, “It meant I had a few extra moments with you.”

Through tears, the loving and heartbroken brother said, “Wherever you are, I hope you can feel the love, Dev. I hope you can see all the souls you have moved.

Members of the BC Wildfire Service present at the memorial said the family was known as “Gale-force” in the service for having three siblings all working as firefighters.

Kayln Gale, the youngest in the family, said she became a firefighter because of her brother and sister.

Devyn’s devastated younger sister revealed that her favorite type of tree was western red cedar and her favorite flowers were purple lilacs.

Kaylyn added that Devyn loves tidal pools and swimming in glacial lakes in the summer sun. “She made my world shine with color,” the younger Gale added.
