Meet Lindsey Horan’s future husband, Tyler Heaps. The USWNT athlete shared a photo of the romantic moment she proposed to her fiancé.
Lindsey Michelle Horan represents the United States women’s national soccer team and French club Olympique Lyon in Women’s Division 1 as a professional soccer player.
When she was a member of Portland Thorns FC in the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL), the top tier of professional women’s soccer in the United States, she was named the league’s most valuable player in 2018.
Horan, who scored the winning goal in the final game, was a key contributor for the Thorns in their 2017 league season.
She previously scored 46 goals in 58 games for Paris Saint-Germain, making her a productive goalscorer.
At the 2010 CONCACAF Women’s U-17 Championship, she led the USA U-17 team in scoring. Horan signed a loan deal with Olympique Lyon on January 27, 2022.
She played 37 times for Lyon, scoring eight goals while winning the UEFA Women’s Champions League, Coupe de France Féminine and Division 1 Féminine three times.
Horan and Lyon have agreed to a binding contract until June 2026, on June 22, 2023.

Horan revealed that she and her longtime partner Tyler Heaps got engaged last Friday in an Instagram post on Tuesday.
Later this summer, Horan and the United States Women’s National Team will be looking to win another World Cup, but in the meantime, she’s already added a ring.
The photo, which included images of the significant event and the ring itself, was accompanied by the words “My heart is and always will be yours” by Horan.
According to reports, the couple likes to play video games together. Heaps participated in football during his college years.
Horan’s sexual orientation was the subject of widespread suspicion for some time before she put an end to it by posting a picture of herself with Heaps on Instagram.
Since, Horan has constantly updated her social media profiles with photos of her boyfriend. The pair collided during USWNT camp over a shared love of the beautiful game.
Heaps was part of the scouting and analysis team, and Horan began to establish himself as a regular at the club.

After serving as Director of Sports Analytics at the United States Soccer Federation (USSF) for five years, he began working in France.
Heaps joined the France team through former Manchester City employee Aaron Briggs. But Heaps’ first job was a human resources analyst. In 2016 he started working with the USFF.
He also attended Augsburg University in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Tyler received a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics after graduation.
Prior to pursuing data analysis, he spent three years as a teacher, coach and assistant coach for the Woodbury Soccer Membership.
He was hired several years ago as a core member of the technology team with the goal of using data analytics to improve player decision-making.
Since the data analyst tends to lead a secluded life, there is virtually no information available about Tyler Heaps’ family. Likewise, the identity of his parents and siblings is also a mystery for now.
But he is very active on LinkedIn, where he frequently shares details about his professional life.
