Grégoire, the sole child of stockbroker Jean Grégoire and Franco-Ontarian nurse Estelle Blais, was born on April 24, 1975, in Montreal, Quebec.
Her family initially resided in Sainte-Adèle, to the north of the city, before moving to Montreal when she was four years old.
