The prime minister announced the test results on Twitter. He also stated that he was feeling fine and isolating at home.

At the time, he urged everyone to get vaccinated to protect themselves and their loved ones from the virus.

The infection did not cause the politician to experience any severe symptoms or problems.

Justin Trudeau And His Wife Are Parting Ways

As mentioned above, the prime minister of Canada, Justin Trudeau and his spouse of 18 years, Sophie Gregoire Trudeau, have announced their separation through their respective social media accounts.

They wrote on Instagram that they decided to separate and end their 18 years of marriage after having “many meaningful and difficult conversations.”

The couple have three children – Xavier, 15, Ella-Grace, 14 and Hadrien, 9. They asked the public for privacy for their children’s “well-being.”

The Prime Minister’s Office said the Trudeaus had signed a legal separation agreement.

The Trudeau couple married in 2005. In Vogue magazine, they told how they met as kids when Sophie was in the same class as Justin’s brother and then again at a charity event in Montreal in 2003.

A few months later, they went out and had dinner. In a talk with Vogue, Justin said, “I’m 31 years old, and I have been waiting for you for 31 years.”

Justin will reportedly be the first prime minister to separate while in office since his father and mother split in 1977.

The National Post reported that then-Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau’s wife Margaret left him and their three sons to move to New York City.

The former prime minister was 29 years older than his wife. Margaret repeatedly asked for divorce six years later.

Justin and Sophie’s separation has gained much public and media attention.

“They remain a close family,” the office said. “Both parents will be with their children often, and Canadians will see the family together frequently. The family will go on vacation together next week.
